Jordyn is a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in infant and toddler feeding and language therapy. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Communication Disorders minoring in Child Development and Family Studies and from Grand Valley State University with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.
Jordyn is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and has received the ASHA ACE award for her personal effort to continue learning beyond an academic degree. She has dedicated many hours to learning how early intervention in feeding are crucial for positive long-term outcomes.
Although Jordyn has spent a lot of her time specializing in infant feeding, she also has expertise in early language development in young children who are not speaking. She has worked with children with language delays including Autism, Down Syndrome, and Apraxia of Speech for over 8 years in various settings.
After navigating feeding challenges with her own daughter, she has combined professional training with lived experience to provide compassion and proven, effective methods that support the whole family. Jordyn feels it is necessary to find the root cause of the issues infants, toddlers, and their families are facing.
Jordyn enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and miniature goldendoodle in her free time. She also loves to exercise and relax by the pool.
